This drawing is a particular favourite of ours. The Stilt Houses prints are signed by Moose and he has hand drawn some figures paddling in the right hand lower corner of every print to make each one different.
“Growing up near the Essex coast, I've always loved the architecture of boat yards, sail lofts and jetties. The Stilt Houses were partly inspired by the ad hoc, post war, prefab dwellings built to house the population overspill from the East End of London and The Maunsell Sea Forts, armed towers built in the Thames estuary during the Second World War."
Giclee printed on 255gsm Somerset Velvet watercolour paper and mounted in a luxury deep bevelled mount to fit a standard 40 x 30cm frame. Paper size 32cm x 23cm
